Psalms 25:4-5

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Reliving my younger years!

So...I was able to go see my beloved New Kids On The Block in Charlotte. My wonderful hubby took me when I picked up 2 tickets at the last minute. We were on the VERY last row so the pictures do the evening no justice. It was AWESOME, I was 10 again for a few hours and it was fun. Next time I will be on the front row, one thing on my bucket list! I will have to say they have still got The Right Stuff!!

The Atlanta Zoo

We love going to the zoo, especially when we can see animals we have never seen before. Who knew the Atlanta Zoo had so many fun things to see. Some of the new animals we got to see where warthogs, muskrats and our favorite Pandas! We had a great time, if you haven't been you should go!

Maggie's Baptism, A New Car, Frozen on Ice and the Pool, it's SUMMER

We love our cousins!! We went to Atlanta to spend some time with Wyatt and Maggie, so much sweetness!!
To everyone's surprise we ended up with my hot new ride! Yes, I am now driving a VAN!  I will have to say that it is the most convenient, useful thing I have ever purchased!!  What can I say...sliding doors AND it doesn't suck my gas tank dry!
We took the kids to see Frozen on ice, and as it appears Chandler was totally entranced!
We have joined the pool and it has been wonderful to watch the kids excel in swimming this summer. Blake is ready for swim team next summer and Chandler is not far behind!

Blake's 7th, yes 7th, Birthday!!!

We celebrated Blake's birthday in Lego fashion at Bricks 4 Kids in Greenville. A very fun and cool place for those of us who love Legos. We played games, at pizza and cake and opened presents, another successful birthday party in the books.

Spring festival, End of the year and a surprise visit from uncle John

We were very sad to say goodbye to Mrs Smith and Mrs Berry. They have been wonderful teachers for Blake this year. We can only hope for teachers like them every year! Blake made a very special friend this year, Ryan, they did most everything together at school and I was so greatful for their friendship.
Uncle John showed up on our doorstep late one night in May, SURPRISE, he has always liked surprises, not sure why, but we loved having him to hang out with and play with. He got to enjoy the spring carnival at Blake's school with us so that was a lot of fun.
