We have had a great summer, it is hard to believe we are getting back in the routine of school again. We have enjoyed swim lessons with Blake, visits with friends and just hanging out at home together. Blake started 4k this morning and Chandler will been 10 months old on the 30th...as I have said before "where does the time go?" At last check-ups (back in July) Chandler was 27.5 inches tall and 18 pounds. She says "dada" and just today is now saying "mama" and "bye bye." She can stand on her own and walks while holding on to you or furniture/toys. She loves to eat, especially big people food, her favorites are bananas, apples and pears, sweet potatoes, corn and peas. She does not like green beans. She adores her big brother and anything he does she wants to do, loves to be outside and loves to be held. She has 5 teeth, 2 on bottom and 3 up top with one coming as we speak. She loves to dance, we usually have music on during the day and we always get a good laugh at Chandler "dancing" to the music!
Blake at last check (in July) was 42 and 1/4 inches tall and 41 and 1/2 pounds. Blake continues to amaze us at his ability to learn and understand. His love for reading and cars grows more everyday. He is very excited to go back to school to see his friends. He is very strong-willed (as they both are...not sure where they got that...lol), energetic, talkative and very imaginative.
They are both amazing kids, we are so blessed to have them in our lives. They bring us a lot of joy and excitement while keeping us on our toes at all times.
My mom came for a visit before school started and they went to the zoo while I worked last Saturday..this was Chandler's first visit and one of many for Blake.
Chandler's new shoes...Carolina style! DeeDee and I took Blake and Chandler to Cochran shoes in Anderson for new shoes....this is where I went to get my shoes as a child!!

This is how Josh found Chandler napping one afternoon...we thought it was too priceless to pass up for a picture.
I took Blake down to edventure in Columbia to play with Carter and Gavin, my BFF from college kids..they had a great time and it was so fun to spend some time with her.
More zoo pictures...
While in Anderson we met up with my longtime friend, Heather, and one of her 4 boys, Hampton. They had a ball playing on the playground at Chick-fil-A and we hope they will have many more play dates.
