We took our annual trip to the Boo in the Zoo on Sunday night....yea, it will probably be our last. It is nice to see all the kiddos dressed up but it is not worth the hassle, if you know what I mean. Blake was again the hit of the night with his Mater costume and little Chandler Lou could have not been cuter. It was freezing cold and the wind was roaring, thanks to hurricane Sandy, and Blake, unknown to us was getting more sick by the minute. Needless to say, I am not sure there will be any Halloween pictures coming this year except for these due to a viral and double ear infection! At this moment we are praying Blake will be better in the morning and Chandler will be spared, it is her birthday tomorrow!

...and Mater Wins!
We took the kids to the Greenville Pavilion's annual Enchanted Tracks on Thursday evening. We had a great time with some close friends and Blake had a blast with his buddy, Harker. They enjoyed trick-or treating, jumping on the bounce toys, going through the maze and of course riding George the train was a real hit. Blake stole the show at the costume contest, taking best costume overall!
Josh and I are so proud of Blake, for such a long time new places, things and loud noises have dampened many family outings because they were such a hard thing for Blake to deal with. This was the first time we have actually made it through something like this without some kind of a meltdown, that was almost better than Blake winning the costume contest! Chandler had a great time too, she got to wear her purple sparkly shoes, which she loves, and she got to run around with all the other kids. We are looking forward to Boo In the Zoo on Sunday, I am sure there will be photos to post:)

On Sunday Josh and GMax took Blake to the airport for a war plane show, he loved being able to get into the planes and see their guns and bombs.

A New Approach
So I have decided to approach the blog a new way. I decided that not only would I post pictures and new things the children are doing but I am also going to use it as a way to express thoughts, desires and blessings etc...to my precious children. So at times it will seem that I am talking to them and in that I hope that one day they can read the blog and know how much their mommy loves them!
Your daddy planned a weekend getaway for mommy this past weekend, I was very reluctant to go, as I am anytime I will be away from you, but I went anyway. It is true that your daddy and I need some time just the two of us to just talk and enjoy each others company. I always hate to leave you both but I know that your GiGi and GMax will take great care of you. So daddy and I headed to Helen, Georgia, because mommy has always wanted to go. We stayed in a cabin in the woods, explored Helen and went Zip Lining. The cabin was really neat and cool, the zip-lining was even cooler, but Helen is nothing to talk about! Anyway, we enjoyed our time together and really missed you guys, we were happy to be home with you on Sunday. Here is a few pictures of our weekend....
P.S. Blake you love to watch the video's of mommy and daddy zip-lining...I think we will take you next time, I hear there is a cool one in Chattanooga.
